it's obviously not the right time for you and your crush... be faithful to the relationship you're in... if it's meant to be, you'll be with your crush one day.

Make sure your boyfriend know what your long lost crush has told you so he don't think you're creeping if he finds out. Tell your long lost crush there maybe a chance of you to having a relationship in the future but right now you are unavailable.

ok, the best thing to do would be to stick to your guy but dont tell him about the long lost crush because that would cause problems so what i suggest you do is stick to what you know, if the long lost crush can treat you better than your guy then i would say that you should try going for him but if you think it would be a bit much to gamble with a good relationship then rather dont do it, make it clear to the guy that you have a boyfriend and if he cant accept that then tell him he is busy breaking up your friendship.

What was the reason your long time crush didn't date you when you wanted him:
Was he in a relationship?
Did he turn you down at that time?
Did he even know you liked him back then?

Depending the answer to those questions, that should help you evaluate if it's worth the risk of leaving your current relationship.

PS:If the answer to the 2nd question was "yes" then I'm pretty sure you know the answer to your question. Good Luck

Where are you at in your life right now? Are you ready to be with someone you could potentially get married to? Then, go with the one you LOVE (and I have a sneaking suspicion it is the boyfriend), not the one you LUST. If you are not anywhere near thinking about marriage, then go for the one you LUST (the crush), with the knowledge you may let a wonderful guy go in the process. You have to be OK with that.

sounds like they weren't very lost. You gotta go with the heart. If you stay loyal just to save face. Then you will grow to resent your boyfriend for not being more like you imagined the othe guy to be. If you get with the crush and he turns out to be a dud...you might still be abe to get back with numero uno

Your age, level of maturity, and intelligence will help you make the choice that works best for you. Be sure you really know someone before getting serious, including yourself. I've learned over the last 49 years to trust my intuition (that little voice that says don't do it or go for it).

If you don't see a future with the b/f, then definitely leave him for the long lost crush.

well you can be just another woman and go for the "bigger better deal" and be let down... That's always an option. Or you could do the right thing and tell him you have a boyfriend and you'd get back to him if things don't work out.

Weigh the scales of love and see who meets the right weight. Go to the one you love the most who will return that love.
