I think gays have the same rights as everyone else. No where in any American law, will you find "Except for Gays". You will not find the right to free speech.... "Except for gays", who must not speak. The speed limit is 65 MPH, except for gays who must drive 45 MPH. Or any other statute excluding them from any American Right.

What they do not have, and are not entitled to is SPECIAL Rights. Gays have the right to get married, just like any American. What they cannot do is marry someone of the same gender, or different species or an inanimate object, just like any American. Gay rights is a Crock.

Unfortunately, gay people do not have the same rights granted by the state regarding marriage, such as taxation, inheritance, and adoption. Why should a gay person be forced to marry someone they do not love? Since these rights are given by the state, there should be no barriers to any two people marrying, and religion should have no say in the matter (see: "separation of church and state").

People who work against justice, equality and tolerance FOR ALL certainly cannot call themselves 'christian,' since such actions-thoughts-words are completely against their teachings. WWJD?

I hope you never find yourself discriminated against, and the subject of hate-filled preachings, because of the way that God made you.

Equal rights are never "special rights." If people still believed that, only white males who owned property would be able to vote in the US.
If you don't "believe in gay marriage," then don't marry a gay person, and leave the rest of us alone.

Hahaha I love it! I think everyone in the country already has all the same rights as anyone else. I disagree with special rights for anyone except I do believe there should be free healthcare for pregnant women IF they are not terminating the pregnancy. Other than that I dont think anyone should be allowed to do more than the next person.

Marriage is a holy union. Homosexuality is a sin. If you are a homosexual and are not concerned with biblical morals then why would it matter if you are in this holy union? Wouldn't common law "marriage" be good enough?

I know everyone says that they want to be married because they love each other so much and want everyone to know it...do they have to be married to show this love?

To answer the question...I do not believe that they should marry.

Gays should have the same rights as everyone else....including the right to marry who ever they want. I really can not understand why this bothers so many people. If you don't understand so what. You are not the one that has to understand. If you don't want to see it then don't go to the wedding.

Under the mortal laws of the constitution of the United States?... Yes...

But true Marrage was instituted by God for God's purpose.
Homosexuals can not be "married" in the eyes of God.

There is already ample legal provision to protect the civil rights and assests of homosexual relationships.... They have all of the legal protection of every one else... Marrage is God's Law and not for man to add his own amendments.

We don't have the right to get married, therefore we do not. I would not ask you to marry someone of the same sex, so you have no right to ask me to marry a person of the opposite sex to whom I am not attracted to in any way. I don't want special rights, just the same you have to be with the one I love.

I don't believe they should be married under God because it's a sin. But marriage is a business. I believe they can be married under mans' laws. Therefore they can be entitled to all the tax benefits a heterosexual couple can have. And duh they can have the same rights as everyone else they are humans not aliens. They can also still be Christians, you don't have to be straight to be a Christian.

Of course people who choose to be Homosexual should have all of the rights as anyone else. God gives us the choice to obey or not.

The problem is that God invented marriage for 1 man and 1 woman. So you will have to call it something else if you feel that you must make this choice.

It wouldn't be a special right for gays to be able to marry someone of the same sex. Heterosexuals could do it, too.

Nothing special there.
