What is your reason for constantly trying to "correct" what you assume to be errors in an opposing belief system. If you are so sure you are right then why the need to recruit everyone who you feel isin't?

Does it stem from an honest place of concern and consideration or does it stem from a need to just be right ?

You are all like that annoying guy who quits drinking or smoking and all of a sudden becomes Super Abstinance Man! Able to forgo a cigarette and a beer in a single bound with the dire and annoying need to CONFORM EVERYONE to HIS WAY. Don't you see how hipocrytical and ignorant that is?

Is it possible for either side to just leave the other the he*ll alone?

What is wrong with you people? honestly, I want to know what drives this maddness?

And yes... I say "Care" as if it is a bad thing because it is very obvious that it is not the point of the questions and answers on here...But it is assumed that is the reason behind it. Therefore and in that way, "care" does become a bad thing.

OK I will do as you ask... butyou had better hope we never live in the same apartment building... it is is on fire I am going to run like hell and leave you in there to burn.... that is exactly what you are asking me to do ... I know for a fact the fire is real and that you are going to die... but you do not want to hear it... so... as the hippies used to say... burn baby burn......

But as one of the Christian Faith I am commanded by God to warn you and to do all in my power to save you... so I will...

In this mortal world I will carry you out of that building kicking and screaming if I have too... but when it come to the emmortal world... all I can do is speak the truth... if you will not hear... you condem yourself... I have done what God expects of me.

You ask "Why do you care?" as if caring is a bad thing.

How one believes dictates how one will behalf and conduct ones life. If you believe in evolution, you're going to believe you're an animal, and you'll conduct yourself like an animal. Murder is OK if you think you're an animal, so is theft as well as anything and everything else.

I'm very sorry if you're annoyed by the arrogance of non-smokers and non-drinkers. Your indulgence doesn't bother me a bit, and I don't feel responsible for your bad decisions. I'm not even upset that I may have to pay higher taxes when you create costs that have to be borne by everybody else when you or your children fall on hard times because of your decisions.

As a Christian, I try to adopt the way of my Lord who says “As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live”

How are you going to learn unless someone tells you.

If you don't want to hear about it, why are you hanging around the "Religion and Spirituality" Message board?

I think you are too quick to judge. There are some on here that are not just here to refute other's beliefs. Some truly want these answers to better understand points of the religion that they are confused about. Don't be afriad of questions. It will only strengthen people in what they believe and perhaps teach others a little something...

It is more complicated than that.

The atheist is tired of all the wrong done in the name of religion.

The spiritual person has nothing but faith, so needs more people to affirm that he is right.

If one person talks to voices and prays to the invisible he is insane, if 50 million do it then it is religion.

We are all the Kosmos become potentially able to be aware of Oneself and able to engage with the rest of Oneself through all living human forms

Unfortunately, the Kosmos is unable to operate as Oneself through most human forms because the conceptual filter currently extant in most human forms is outdated and deludes Oneself into thinking of Oneself as discrete and separate individuals of different races, nations, religions, genders etc. This in turn makes Oneself dysfunctional and sometimes even destructive, through each of Our living human forms.

I care because I can see the Kosmos suffering One's helpless confinement through most human forms. So I communicate with Oneself through other human forms and try and help revise the conceptual filters in each of these forms, so that Oneself might become able to recognize Oneself as the Kosmos, and begin to function and engage the rest of Our common world as such.
