propose to him. If he tries to put you off again, consider ending it.

If you have already let him know that you want to marry him then don't pressure him too much. If you guys only discuss it every three months then it doesn't seem you're pressuring him... good job. Maybe he's trying to find the right moment to surprise you. Try to figure out what he's afraid of or if he's even afraid at all? If you guys are already committed to each other and can see the other person in your future then you're right marriage is the next step. Maybe he's just saving up to buy your perfect ring.

You can't make someone do anything. Pushing a man into proposing will often lead to his resentment. He might do it just to appease you, and eventually you will break up.

Your choices:

1. - Wait for him to ask you in his own time. If he takes longer than you would like, you need to make a decision for yourself on how long you are going to wait. (NOT saying give him an ultimatum. That is unfair and disrespectful)

2. - Propose to him. If he says anything other than YES, then you have your answer. He is still not sure, waiting to see if something better comes along, or something else....

Nothing. You wait or you move on. If you coax him into it, you could end up with an unhappy mariage. Start acting like it doesn't bother you, that you are okay with things exactly like they are. Most people (guys & girls alike) don't like to be pressured into marriage. If you aren't willing to wait until he is secure enough on his own to propose then maybe you need to find another boyfriend. And don't be in such a hurry to get married, a lot of things change...

And I ask one more time...why would you want to GET a man to ask you to marry him? Why not just wait until a man WANTS to marry you? If no one wants to, then maybe you should try to figure out WHY no one wants to marry you and work on changing that aspect of yourself? GET a tan, GET laid, GET a new car but WAIT for the man who WANTS to marry you to ask! GETTING a man to ask will surely end in tears!
Just a thought...

buy a large bottle of vodka, drink it then go hitchhiking if he loves you he will track you down, even if he finds you in a room with six guys, tell him that he drove you to it and that he will have to work 2 jobs and give you his money and you might consider taking him back. what do you think he is doing? time for some payback
PROBLEM SOLVED you might even enjoy yourself

You really don't think he's going to marry you after all this do you and if you found a way to "help" him how would that make you feel about yourself? My suggestion is after all this time just leave things as they are you leave.

Help him? You're talking about "getting" your bf to commit to marriage! He has to chose that, not be forced to.

He probably wants you to propose. Perhaps he has doubts that you are the one who can't commit? Men don't always have to be the people who take action, although I understand that it is appreciated.

Just tell him you want a ring on your finger and that you would love to marry him.
