I have stretch marks underneath my left arm. I have not been changing shape fast or working out? How did these appear? Am I lacking a certain vitamin? mineral? Its kind of scary to me because they just appear and I haven't done anything exerting to make this happen. I have them also big time in the creases of my inner thighs and my stomach where my waist line used to be. I am overweight. Is it possible that the marks under my arm were caused by the pulling of my skin from my STOMACH area? I know thats a stretch (ha), but I can't figure anything else about it. Any help is appreciated.

Would it be better to apply the Retin-A or Cocoa Butter after I've lost the weight again or during the weight loss process. I just started cardio about a week ago and plan to lose 70 lbs.

Stretch marks are very common problems associated with pregnancy because this is a period of rapid growth for women. Any period of rapid weight gain will most likely be accompanied by stretch marks and they are common factors in obesity. However, it is possible for heredity to be a factor as some people have proven more prone to stretch marks than others.

you can get a prescription for Retin-A cream. it will fade the mark but won't totally erase it.
