If it's during the service, you should make a special offering of about $100 to the church's general fund. But he's doing his regular job. Invite the pastor and his family if necessary to dinner at your house, and remember him with a restaurant gift card a couple of weeks before Christmas.

In our church, we have no paid ministry. Our bishop, priesthood holders, etc. do not work for hire. The only stipend we receive is the joy of serving in our Father's kingdom.
