It may not have been so much an attempt to convince others as to express his/her own beliefs. Sometimes it's nice just to see that someone else feels like you, if you feel like a minority where you're at. Or maybe they sincerely do think that they can convince an "unbeliever" during the morning commute, I don't know.

Not as good a bumper sticker as "I'm not religious....I just love the Lord!", but still fairly funny.
He was trying to convince everyone else, because if they believe it is true, then he would have to and his irrational belief would be justified.
Papeversomniferum - what a b itch. She can't be that intelligent if she is spending all her time on Myspace.

It's a popular bumper sticker. I don't think they were trying to convince anyone but bought it because that is how they feel.

LOL
It would be less suspicious that the driver was trying to convince themself if the sticker just said "I Heart Jesus" or something...

I was on yahoo questions and answers on my way to myspace this morning and I ran across this moron who was trying to use the bumper sticker of a guy trying to prove a point about christianity in trying to prove a point against his point in direct counter to his point to invalidate it and make his point the right one against the guy with the bumper stickers point which was against the point of the person driving by reading it which annoyed the crap out of the intelligent girl on her way to myspace who came across the guy.... Blah blah blah... We could be here forever. You people are SO STUPID!

I was driving to work last week and saw a bumpersticker that said "When Jesus said 'Love Your Enemy', I do not think he meant to kill him" Who was the driver trying to convice? Better yet, does that imply he is an atheist?

Wow, you are in school and working? I remember what that was like. I feel for you. I am studying for a certain professional certification now that I am not ready to pursue a Ph.D. (yet.)
Anyway, maybe he is just really excited about his new revelation. I cannot be of more help - I am not a mind reader.

Maybe no one. Maybe it was an affirmation of how he or she feels. No different than one who displays the American, Puerto Rican or Chinese flag outside their home.
Maybe everyone. Maybe it is a reminder to them every time they take something out of their trunk. Maybe it is a proclamation to those who read it.
Maybe the driver was trying to convince you....

That means at least one other person knows The Truth
Not trying to convince any one of any thing. A simple statement of fact.
Why dose it upset you so?

The driver was simply spreading the news that Jesus IS real. I applaud that person who wasn't afraid to show it.
