Because sometimes they win. I got $5 on a $3 dollar lotto ticket. Overall, I made a $2 profit, I didn't lose money on that.

Dreamers are we....we look,see and want as opposed to need.
We don't always lose..every once in a while, we'll get lucky and actually get something in return and we consider this a gift instead of a return on our investment. Until our wants subside,we dream of the unattainable.....

Ive won small amounts over the years, mostly from scratch offs. I think it is kind of fun, i play every once and a while, i dont go overboard with it.
