If life isn't sacred, then what is? Maybe nothing. Yes, we made the whole thing up. If you read history a little more closely, we blame God for all the killing, but humans actually hold the weapons. Try to use that as a defense. "Oh, I was holding the gun, but God pulled the trigger." Or "I was driving drunk, but God was my co-pilot."
And if you read history even more closely, you'll see that some things are more important to humans than other things. Some people are wise and others are not. Look for what the wise people agree about. Respect the earth, respect life. Yes, you must eat to live and yes you usually have to take a life to eat, but you do not have to be wasteful and you do not have to be disrespectful. Turn away from religion if it offends you, brother, but don't turn away from respect for life, because you would be turning away from being a decent human.

the first people were told to till the ground for food not kill animals for food. Man chose to do that on their own and we live with the consequences of those decisions through cancers and diseases we would not have had we continued to be plant eaters instead of eating meat.
Man murdered in the name of God. God did not tell those people to murder anyone.
life is sacred,
Gen 9:6 Whoever sheds the blood of man, by man shall his blood be shed; for in the image of God has God made man.
Exodus 21:22 If men who are fighting hit a pregnant woman and she gives birth prematurely [a] but there is no serious injury, the offender must be fined whatever the woman's husband demands and the court allows.
Psalms 139:13 For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb.
Jeremiah 1:5 Before I formed you in the womb I knew [a] you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.

God created all life. He did not create it for it to be taken away unjustly. To take one life unjustly is a most serious sin that a true believer should tremble at the very thought of doing such a thing.
No true man of God will intentionally take the life of an innocent human soul!
God has strictly forbidden the taking of life except in two specific cases. One where the person is guilty of murdering another person and the other where a person is guilty of actively participating and promoting corruption in the land (fasaad fi al-ardh).
Whoever kills a person without his being guilty of murder or of creating unrest in the land, is as though he kills the whole of mankind. (Al-Maaidah 5: 32)
Furthemore - even in these instances - it is not for any individual Muslim or renegade group to decide such a matter - but for a Shari'ah court, Khaleefah etc...
The haphazard killing of innocent people - be they on a train, in a night club, in a synagogue, in an office, in a restaraunt, in a housing complex etc... is completely against all the laws of Islam!
The taking of life is so serious that God described the killing of just ONE innocent soul as equal to the slaughter of the whole of HUMANITY!
Let NO-ONE here be in ANY doubt that NO TRUE MUSLIM can condone, support, excuse, or be-little the killing of any single innocent soul!

Life is sacred. It is what you value the most. I don't know who said life is sacred, but everybody considers life (consiusly or unconsiusly) as the ultimate value. It is the one thing you will not exchange for anything. And yes, humans do kill each other from time to time. When contries go to war, the presidents never go, they send somebody else to do their job, you know why? Because they appresiate their own life more than the life of others. At the point of war, soldiers kill to protect their own life (not just because they where told to).

Are you trying to say what Christians/Muslims/Jews do is what God says? People have been disobeying God law for centures and so life gets destroyed, God wants life to be around but sadly enough people do not regard it as sacred.
Btw, People are not God they can't set the rules. People have been adding their own rules and been claimin that God supports it to make their cause look good (and that is very wrong, Im sure God is mad at that)

In all fairness, God didn't tell them to do it, All of them chose to do it on their own and put it in God's name. And as far as hunting and death penalty and things like that, we did that on our own also. God allows hunting according to the Bible but doesn't encourage it, and he requires that we need it to eat or clothe ourselves, not just for the sheer fun of it. And the death penalty is not in the Bible as something justifiable. In fact, vengeance belongs to God according to the Bible and the whole deal should be left to Him.

Well, if you are dead set on believing this malarkey, then there is no sense in trying to explain anything to you.
