Jesus is coming back to get all those who have been saved by His Grace. People who rejected Him and never got saved will be left behind to go through the tribulation. Thank God He saved me. I will not be left here. I will be going Home with my Lord.

I tend to think the "2nd coming" stuff might be a bit of fiction placed in the bible as a mechanism of behavior control on the part of early church and political leaders.. Considering the majority of the information regarding the 2nd coming resides in a book of the bible that was almost excluded in the 2nd century.. It was written supposedly by John the beloved in the last part of the 1st century and was more likely written by early church leaders.
The birth, life, death and resurrection of the Christ requires a leap of faith.. Not a leap acrossed a small gully but acrossed the grand canyon. I tend to think that metaphorical 2nd coming is more of what waits on the other side.
However, if one was to read into the debate the OT prophets from Daniel, Ezekial, Isaiah making a connection between biblical prophecies and events at any given time throughout history can assume the end is coming at anytime.. The premise of Israel being re-established, wars and rumors of wars, give a person reason to pause and reconsider some basic tenants of theology.. Most of the 2nd coming information was spawned from the Millerite movement in the 1830s and 1840s. And are based on interpretive views of "what is meant by" chapter X verse Z..
I tend to think the Rapture is a nice bit of fiction.. If I am proven wrong I guess I will be around for the tribulation..

No. Even if there was a "second coming," which there won't be, God will not rescue those who are faithful to him because he doesn't think anyone is faithful enough. You gotta accept that whatever you do, you're still gonna burn, so you might as well have some fun while you're around instead of wasting all your time trying to live up to an unacheivable standard.

Yes, He will come to deliver His people the ones that call on His name and believe God resurrected Him from the dead. He will deliver them from the wrath of God that is to follow after the rapture of His people who are called by His name.

Yes, I do. His Word promises that he will "come for His bride" which is the Church saints who've obeyed the plan of salvation and have lived a sanctified life.

Yes, of course it's true. I was brought up very aware of the Bible and the truths in it, and I know that Jesus will return to the earth in the end.

No. If there truly a loving Lord like believers claim, why would he single out one group and damn the rest......?? It's a control and fear tactic.............

I doubt, dear lady, whether grudgingly, arrogantly, rebelliously, thoughtfully, lovingly with great expectation, anyone on this planet is not looking upon anything else but this expectation.
