Would you still say that Jesus was cool even if he was preaching Buddhism or some other philosophy? I don't claim to know all about Jesus but I think he was cool because of his message. Did he really say he was God's son or that we are all God's kids? Did he say he was some kind of favorite or did he just want us to live for a higher power?
I think he was cool for his teachings.

Of course Jesus was cool! "Relaxed and groovy." He was into long hair and being nice to people. What's not to like?

Jesus said "I am the way, the truth and the light. No one comes to the Father, but by me. Whereby, you must be saved."
Faith in Jesus requires more than just thinking he was a cool guy because of his teachings. It requires FAITH IN HIM. It requires you to believe than Jesus died to save you from your own sinfulness. It requires you to believe that he is the risen savior -- the Son of God!
Start reading the Bible and start with the book of John. When you realize the sacrifice that he made for you, you can begin to understand why Jesus is the only way to God.

I think he was cool because he created a whole new religion without being anything special and now everyone prays to a 2000 year old guy who claimed he was gods son

I think he's cool because now matter what you are, he will understand you. All he want you to be is to be honest with yourself. ****, sometimes when I pray, I usually don't cuss, but when I get emotional, I cuss up the storm! It's all about how you feel and that's what Jesus wants. He wants you to get all of that negativy out of your system, so you will have nothing buy positive inside you, and then you positive will spread to others around you.

Jesus Christ died for all mankind not just some so that we may have everlasting life yes we are all sinners this was his purpose for coming to earth to die for sin Jesus commanded us to love everyone not just who we want even our enemy those who have not repented of there sins are children of Satan for they choose to be. Gods Children know who they are when they come to repentance Jesus Died for all even the Buddhist and Satanist but we must give our life's to God.

You know why jesus is so cool? Its simply because of his long hair and his ability to really kick *** with the footbag. I played with him when i was i college, he could do things with the footbag that i didn't think possible. Plus he was really laid back, he was cool.
