My husband had that problem on his chest and he took Ibuprofen to reduce swelling and tubbed a topical antihistamine gel on the tiny white bump/blisters and they were gone by the end of the day. Good luck!

I am. Well they say I'm "allergic" to the sun because my skin would react to the heat. I would get blisters then my skin would swell up and I'd get itchy under my arms and behind my knees. It would last a couple hours so my Mom give me baking soda and rub it into my skin and I would soak in warm water for an hour. There is allergy medicine that you can take (I'm not sure what the name is, sorry!) Maybe it's not really the UV rays that make me come out in blisters but the pollen or something in the air that my skin doesn't like since I have sensitive skin. Use sunblock!

It would help to know how long you were exposed and what protection you used. I fell asleep in the sun once for an hour with no suncream on and I came out in nasty watery blisters on my face. Yuk! Never made the same mistake again. You may not be allergic but have had too much exposure. Do you use a higher factor cream and avoid too much sun? If you are taking all the right precautions then an allergy is a possibility. Check it out with your doctor. If you use suncream you could be allergic to a certain brand maybe? Good luck.

It is quite a common skin complaint, i suffer with it too, in a hot climate. It is called Prickly Heat Rash. It isn't serious, although it is very uncomfortable and itchy. I think it is caused by lack of cool air to the skins surface, over-heating and perspiration. I've found it helps to keep cool, drink lots of ice cold water, wear a hat, use a hand fan for outdoors and an electric fan indoors. Cooling down will help to prevent the heat bumps from occuring.

It's a well known problem..

But be careful..
Side effects can be dangerous..

Some people *not to scare you* can never go out in the sun, and have to live inside, and when they do go outside they have to wear space suits.

I do suggest you go to the doctor, express any concern you have.

And for the time being stay out of the sun.

Also have a look on some medical sites, and get some stuff from there, but don't scare yourself or anything..

You have a sun allergy. This means you should be using a higher sun protector cream when out in the sun. The one you have is not strong enough. Hope this will help.

Your doctor can write you a prescription for something. Give them a call.
