The wrong hairbrush absolutely can cause split ends; any type of nylon or metal or plastic type bristle is especially bad! Go for a soft, boars hair bristle brush; It will cost a few dollars, but will last forever!

Yes actually peolpes brushes cause more damage then We realize-look down by where the bristle is formed and make sure there's no extra plastic sticking out and no where for your hair to get stuck or pulled!!

yes it can. you need to start at the bottom of your hair and work up to the scalp if you just rip right thro it its gonna break and you should cut your hair every 4 to 6 weeks just to keep the ends nice
