Creationism is *true* and
Evolution is *false*
Someone just posted that there are "so many poofs to back up the Bible and and evolution doesn't have one." Of course, said person presented none of these proofs to support said claim.
(and let me say that I am one who believes that both are possible, that they can coexist.)
Okay - let's have them.

And please note: I am not asking one to refute either. I am asking only for evidence, beyond the scriptures, that Creationism has been proven.

I didn't deny that "Jesus existed." I believe that he did. How does that prove Creationism?

I'm not asking for "100%" - that's why I love, "all or nothing" thinking. I am asking for ONE piece of evidence.

Folks - I am not asking for *absolute* proof. Why is it that there are so many *absolutist* thinkers out there? I don't need absolutes; but I need something.

The basic fact is that there is not absolute proof one way or the other. There is evidence that suggest both but nothing to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that either one is true or false, or that they cannot coexist as you say.
The existence of the Bible could be one, but that one is easily refuted as it could also just be a book of myths no more or less important than the Iliad or the Odyssey for example. But it could be God's word. I would point out that archeologists that use the Bible when looking for places to dig for civilizations did always find them, though. And proof that prophecies from early in the book came true later.
The sheer complexity of the universe is another argument for God, it is hard to imagine everything fell into perfect place to support life on blind chance, but it could happen. The more important part though is the Big Bang theory, which says that all matter currently in the universe at one time was compacted down to a very small space smaller than our current solar system. It got so small that it exploded back out and formed the universe, but that doesn't explain where the original material came from, which lessens the possiblity of evolution (but not completely erases it).
There are more possibilities for and against both ideas. A theory is a hypothesis that has some tests that prove it a possibility still (it hasn't been eliminated as possible) but hasn't been proven as definite, that is why both creationism and evolutionism are referred to as theories. Study and learn and ask as much as you can from all people that you can (scientists, philosphers, religious leaders and so on) and then make your decision, that is your best chance for getting it right.

There can be no scientific proof of creationism. The only "proof" that IDers have put forward is that evolution doesn't yet have all the answers. You cannot prove or disprove God (or whatever other random creating force you want to try to put on creationism), thus you cannot prove or disprove creationism. You can however scientifically prove or disprove evolution. One of the major proofs was the discovery of natural selection, which proves that over time a species will select for positive traits over negative ones.
Its the same problem with predeterminisation (pardon my spelling). If everything is predetermined, then if I am arguing against predetermination, I was predetermined to disbelieve it. Thus there is no point in arguing about it.
In regards to your additional details regarding absolute proof:
If you are looking for proof of creationism, you have to be able to prove that God exists, there is nothing smaller that can be proven. It isn't like evolution at all where evolution is made up of a lot of little things that can be proven that points toward evolution. All creationists have to point to are questions that aren't answered yet and the answer they give all of them is "GOD".
For example:
Two species of bird is found on an island. Both share almost exactly the same characteristics but were found on different parts of the island. The difference is that birds found in a swamp land area have a flat bill, but birds found in a sandy section have a pointed bill. A creationist would say that GOD created both of these birds seperately this way. However, it was subsequently proven by science that the birds evolved from a common ancestor, were seperated and evolved to match their environment through natural selection. (I am pretty sure I didn't get the beak differences right, but this is pretty much what led Darwin to his discovery of natural selection).
Now this can be argued by the creationists to just show that god changed these birds by his whims, but that just further accentuates the fact that you can't disprove "GOD". Similarly, there would be no way to possibly prove that they had been right and that GOD did create them.

Drop the pretense, you know very well that Evolution is an alias for a dog-eat-dog mentality. We probably did descend from an ancestor we have in common with apes, and I know that offends some folks. But I can tell from your words, that you are proud to be something more than the descendent of pond scum. And unless you are a very well trained diplomat, you have a sense of charity, that is inspired, not evolved. I'll offer you, your self, as evidence, that creation is true. And I would also call you out as a hostile witness, for the juvenile notion of creationISM. All fables, myths, etc. have a base in truth, including the oldest known to man. The older the myth, the more likely to be true. You are a scolar, and have undoubtedly devoted much time to a subject you present as possibly not true.

I could type a book explaining my beliefs, but I won't take all that space, especially since you probably aren't really interested anyway. I will say that there is ample proof that we have an intelligent creator. (Notice the first link) I will also say, no where in the Bible does it tell us how long the "creative days" were. The Bible indicates that a day w/ Jehovah is like a thousand years to us. It also indicates that a "day" is a time period, with that said, the creative days could have been millions of years long.
As far as evolution is concerned, I appreciate what astronomer Fred Hoyle stated regarding the belief that the first cell originated by chance. He said it is like believing that a tornado ripping through a junkyard full of Boeing 747 airplane parts dismembered and in disarray could produce a 747.

I believe in creationism. I do not dispute Micro-evolution, which is what is explained by Darwin’s "Theory of Natural Selection". However I do not believe in evolution, in the sense that existence came from nothing, which is the alternative theory to creationism. I will layout a few reasons I believe creationism but a really good book to read, that makes an argument for creationism as well as Christianity without using scripture is Mere Christianity by CS Lewis. He explains this stuff way better then I can.
1. Through observing our world there seems to be a natural law that without the intervention of life matter goes from order to disorder. If this is the case, but we were not created by life how did we go from Disorder ( much simpler life and before that simply matter) to order. Without this question answered I'm inclined to believe in some sort of creator.
2. Why is the world so ordered, it seems the world is full of order and cycles, order and cycles are the work of intelligence not randomness.
3. Morality, if something did not embed in us a sense of morality, where did it come from and why does it seem to be relatively consistent through most societies?
Those are 3 of the major reasons I believe in creationism but there are others. I don't pretend they are absolute proof just things that, to me, make creationism seem to make more sense then our existence being the result of something unintelligent and random.

Creationism (a.k.a. Intelligent design", has not been "proved" anywhere in the Bible or interpretations or derivations thereof.
Evolution has been shown in innumerable observations and experiments since 1856 or 1859 ((wehether you credit Wallace or Darwin). Many Christian Churches have no great problem with the theory of evolution. They have folded it into their theology or accomodated, or rationalised it in some manner.. Including the Roman Catholic Church.
Hope this note goes some way to shedding a little light onto a complicated question.
Regards,
Dan.

Well I am a Muslim, and Islam Consider the Quran to be a fullfilment of the " Injeel" (the gospel ) that jesus preached and which some of its textes were corrupeted, fabricated, or/and rewritten.
Here what I know about the creation
The Originator of the heavens and Earth. When He decides on something, He just says to it, 'Be!' and it is" (Qur'an, 2:117).
He created the heavens and Earth with truth. The day He says "Be!" it is. His speech is Truth. The Kingdom will be His on the Day the Trumpet is blown, the Knower of the Unseen and the Visible. He is the All-Wise, the All-Aware. (Qur'an, 6:73)
"Or were they created out of nothing, or are they the creators?" (Qur'an, 52:35).

Jesus can't be proven let alone something like creation.
There are theories that we are descendants from another planet's race and possible evidence of that. That would explain stuff like Easter Island's statues (how they were transported), Egyptian heilogrphys that show helicopters, submarines and a bomb, artifacts over a thousand years old showing carvings of airplanes.
In that context, Adam was cloned and the "put into a deep sleep" would mean surgery.
The new testament was based more on Julius Ceaser's life. Julius Ceaser was made into a diety after his death and people actually worshipped him and were persecuted for it. The Julius Ceaser movement "disappeared" about the time Christianity movement began.
If your interested in either of these theories, here's a couple of good links for you.

Hi i'm not at all that religious, but your question has reminded me of a debate way back in high school, and i was debating in favor of CREATION. I was not so confident before the debate but the night before the said event , i read a book about the matter and it did helped me understant the facts about creation and evolution. And our group won the debate! the book is titled
" Life, how did it get here? by evolution or by creation "
i suggest you read it , it has reliable informations on both biblical and scientific explainations. I'm sure it will answer your question and might as well change your views in life

There are ancient forms of art all over the world where men have drawn, painted, and sculpted images of dinosaurs. These include wall paintings in the Grand Canyon and Natural Bridges National Park (USA), hundreds of clay figures in Mexico, and Inca burial stones in South America.
Many of these look just like known dinosaurs. So, if they are not dinosaurs, what are they and if they are, how did these men know how to draw them? Evolution says dinosaurs were gone millions of years before man.
This is just one example of the evidence that the Earth is young and that evolution is wrong. To see these examples, and others, check out the web-sites referenced below.
