One of the users in the company I work for has a file with several hundred numbers in cells, which each one must he convert the number to it's translation into a word.

Example, 342.00 -> Three Hundred Forty Two
100.00 -> One Hundred
4,958 -> Four Thousand Fifty Eight

Is it possible in Excel to do that?

yes it is possible but because there is no such built-in function in excel, it requires the use of code in the visual basic editor (tools > macros > visual basic editor).

it sounds like "Method 3: Paste Function" would be best for your particular task for running the code and doing the actual change.
