Because women mature faster than men and men your age aren't ready to settle down for the long haul just yet. Most men don't start really "wanting" to be tied down until they are in their 30's. Obviously not all but most guys in their 20's are just wanting to have fun. You are probably more mature that most of the guys your age and lets not pretend that guys are going to want a girlfriend as young as they can possibly get and still be able to stand her. Look at it as a compliment but I would advise against going as old as 15 years older. Not that there is anything wrong with it but I see nothing wrong with a 24 year old dating a 34 year old but 40? I think you can do a tad better than that..lol

Several possibilities occur. My favorite three are: 1. Your looks and/or behavior are suggestive of a woman more mature than the average 24 year old. 2. YOU're attracted to older men, and (of those who are attracted to younger women), exchange inviting signals with them. 3. You're just so HOT that ANY man would be attracted to you- regardless of age :-)

That's a good question. I know why some men are attracted to women 10-20 years younger. Mid Life crisis, although it isn't really a crisis. In fact I'm enjoyng it mostly.
Your case may be different. Maybe its your maturity? Maybe you don't know it, but you could be giving off signs to the older guys and not the younger. Who knows? Nature is a funny thing.

Kudos to you! It just means you're on their level. Men take way longer to mature (if they ever do), so it's natural for older men to be attracted to younger women. I'm 27 and my boyfriend of almost 2 years is 43, and it's working out great so far. We're on the same intellectual level, and we're both learning from one another. He has a lot of skills under his belt (work-wise), which I'm learning, and he's learning how to love and be loved truly unconditionally and how to express his feelings more openly, so we're truly compatible...not to mention, the bedroom stays steamy!!!

Older men are usually more mature, and know what they want. They know how to treat a lady the way she deserves to be treated. Most have sufficient finances, good jobs, and are secure in their manhood. If they fill what you're looking for, I see no problem in it! Have fun!

They may see your maturity level. Perhaps you're just a hottie. Old men like young hotties. It could be good if you want it to be. Make sure he tells you a lot about himself though, so you can find what his angle is! Good luck!
