I am Orthodontist, so I can probably answer your question. Invisalign works well if you do not have lot of crowding. But with Invisalign we cannot achieve perfect results. With braces I have better control. Whatever you do, go to an Orthodontist and not a general dentist who is certified in Invisalign. More recently, there is another company called Orthoclear, which works just like Invisalign. I get better results with this company/trays.

I think braces because even thought they might like ugly the invisalign are way too much work.

Some dental problems cannot be fixed with invisalign. See an orthodontist.

I have invisalgin so I know from experiance that YOU DONT WANT THEM. Mine did not straighten my teeth to how straight I wanted them, and they are still not level, plus they are to much work. You have to brush your teeth after you eat anything, and thats kind of nasty to do in public bathrooms, and after you have your trays changed, when you take them out to eat it feels like you are pulling your teeth out :( and they start to smell funny after about 4 days, and they are more expensive. Just get normal braces.

Braces do a better job than invisaline because you can take of invisaline but you caint take of your braces
