Do not be to impressed with Canada's health care. If you are not dead or dying they will schedule a hip replacement 2 years from the date you determine you need it. In the U.S. the same operation would be scheduled in 2 weeks. My mother went through so many delays on so many medical procedures when she was up there. She would have to come to the U.S. for everything or wait forever. Not very good system. But all were covered. I'd rather work at a job that pays for my coverage and have fairly decent coverage, than have the same coverage as the unemployed.
