The word "age" represents how old you are from the day you were born.

The word "birthday" represents the day that you were born.

So lets say you were born in February 29, 1980 then that's your birthday and each year (or 365 days) you would become a year older. Thus meaning that you would celebrate the 365th day which is March 1st.

But "Technically" everyone only have one birthday and that was the day you were born in 1980.

If you were born on 29th Feb then you can only celebrate it on the correct day every 4 years, but I guess if anyone was born on 29th Feb then they would celebrate it on 28th Feb or 1st March when it's not a leap year.

Most people choice to have a birthday on the 28th Feb or March 1st depending on what time you were born on the 29th.

I used to have a teacher that was born before midday on the 29th so he chose to have his birthday on the 28th the same day as mine, except I was born World Cup Year and not a leap year.

It's not if you were born on leap year...it's if you were born on Feb. 29 which only comes on leap year. That's correct. I have a friend who's birthday is Feb. 29 & she looks, acts, and thinks as a normal person would. She celebrates her birthday on Feb. 28 every year & then when leap year comes around she celebrates it on her real birthday. It's just a date. Very interesting though.

Only if your birthday falls on Feb. 29th. All the other 364 days occur in each year.

You would still be 26 years old however, (having lived through 26 years...) With only 5 'birthdays'

i know someone who was born on 29th feb, he just celebrates on 1st march, except every leap year of course... untechnically he's 12, so technically he's only 3....
mind you, i've always wondered what age he would be considered officially...

Well it all depends on just how much fun you wanna have, or how rich you are!
If you are rich and lavish then you could celebrate every year on March 1st.
Else celebrate only once in four years. Easy on the pocket!!!!
