Lately i have installed a lot of games . Many of them use patches and cracks. I presume this could be the issue but also i download a lot from the net. I have run Norton anti virus and also registry cleaner. Both came out clean.

You need to got the Device Manager (often called the Device Mangler). Go to the START menu and select the Control Panel, and then select System. A menu appears, on which you select the Hardware tab. In the middle of the menu, on the right side is the Device Manager button, select that button and the Device Manager window appears. Most drivers are for devices, but other drivers will appear in this menu. I don't recommend making any changes here because it could mess up your computer or your games. That's why computer experts refer to this as the Device Mangler so be careful.

You may not get enough of your game drives displayed, but this profile is the best list you are going to get without having to do a lot of research on the drivers that each game installs.
