Hot dogs are already cooked. Most people just don't like to eat them cold.

You can eat them without cooking (they're already cooked). They just taste better when fixed hot.

Hot dogs are already cooked so you can eat them right out of the package... SAUSAGES and Brats on the other hand... you have to cook before eating.

you can eat hot dogs without cooking them, another thing to the hippie who said hot dogs were gross. shut up and let those of us who like them eat them, and enjoy your tofu. Hippies, they try to save the world, but all they do is smoke pot and smell bad.

my kids are always eating unheated hot dogs straight out of the fridge. the meat is basically already cooked you are just heating it to taste.

regular hot dogs (that come 10 to a pack)
are precooked so if you like them cold, go ahead
I prefer to put them in the microwave until they look gross
