if it is a thick fiberglass?any fiber glass first get mask to cover face annd safety glasses fiber glass gets in your eye and you in for a hurt wear all safety items plusand roll down sleeves and wear gloves if not you will find yourself itching like never before but after you cut it.take a shower without rubbing body just let water run that stuff off you always be safe.!if you've never work'd fiber glass i should tell you is is nasty.in a way.wear mask and use either a jig saw or a 6:grinder with a carbarandom wheel on it .it will do very fast job for you

If you are cutting the fiberglass matting, it will cut with regular scissors. If you are trying to cut fiberglass sheets that have already been cured with resin, you need to use either a fine metal saw (to keep splintering to a minimum) or an impregnated disc like they use on grinders.

Do you mean the matt?... with scissors!, or the finished laid up product, in which case you need a saw of some kind.

if its the soft kind u can cut it with a sharp knife but if its the tough one u need to use a machine use to cut the steel i dont know its name in english and u neede to change the rotating disk with a special one for fiber glass
be carful u must not breath the fines when u cut

Diamond or Carbide saws.

water jets work as well as routers with carbide tools.
