augh! dont use henna if you want blonde! henna will turn your hair a lovely shade of red and help it get healthier and fuller but it WILL NOT lighten it to blonde! henna actually has natural staining properties that dye the hair and skin a deep reddish stain. to get lighter hair- your best bet is to go to a decent salon and find a good color tech that uses natural products. you can lighten your hair without using harsh bleaches. just dont use henna if you want blonde! good luck!

I have never tried henna, so I'm not sure if it works. You may want to do some research on it. As far as getting your hair completely blonde without having to bleach or dye it, I don't think I've ever heard of anything that actually works. I know that lemon juice is supposed to lighten your hair. Maybe if you try it a few times, it may lighten your hair to a shade that you like.

To truly turn darker hair blonde you have to strip the color out first. You'd have to use something like Born Blonde and then add color to it. Henna won't lighten your hair to blonde...not to a shade you would want.

I think henna turns your hair red! Go to a professional if you want to go blonde.

the hindrance with henna is if you do not find it irresistible it is relatively difficult to repair. I labored at a salon and I relatively do not believe it ever appears well until you're indian or persian.

Just get streaks or foil highlights of blonde, it will gradually turn your whole head to blonde, if you keep up with it.
