From cutting off the tops of pineapples and planting them in the dirt. In about 5 to 8 years you might have a pineapple? Never can tell though, depends on if you take good care of it and keep it fertilized and watered. I don't know how they mass produce pineapples because they do take forever to fruit even under the best conditions.

Ahhhh, this was a discussion that our family had on Easter. I thought that they grow on trees, I was informed that they grow up from the ground, so the pineapple comes from a flower, sort of.

If you cut off the top inch or so of a pineapple and bury it so the spikey leaves remain on top it will grow....small fruits will begin to grow and hang grom the plant
