To a God not bound by the limits of human practicality, every tiny part of your body would be as action-packed and meaningful as the parts of any rock or tree or bug. And the sum of your parts that form the personality and life we find so special and amazing would seem neither special nor amazing to an omnipotent being. It is absurd to define God as omnipotent and then burden him with our own myopic view of the significance of human beings. What could possibly be interesting or important to a God that knows everything, can create anything, can destroy anything. The concept of ‘importance’ is a human one born out of our need to make choices for survival. An omnipotent being has no need to rank things. To God, nothing in the universe would be more interesting, more worthy, more useful, more threatening, or more
important than anything else.
Is there anything wrong with this thinking? (Atheists, I know you will say it is all wrong since there's no God, assume there is and then tell me).

If you agree with this, then why as humans do we put ourselves above everything else and claim that we are so important to God over all the rest of creation? Why do we claim that we are to rule over creation?

If God is Omnipotent, how can you say that he does not know limitation, and why would he need to observe? Surely he is not limited, and thus knows all, even what it means to be and feel limited.

You are making God in your own image. Because you are easily bored with the familiar, you assume God is too. But perhaps God is as fascinated by rocks as a professional geologist and as fascinated by trees as a professional botanist and as fascinated by human beings as any mother or lover is.

A "God not bound by the limits of human practicality" would be the same as "No God" because all human assumptions (sin, jesus, heaven, hell) become meaningless. God is merely a creation born of these "myopic views" and assumptions. If humans were irrelevant to God as in your scenario, God would become irrlevant to humans, and thus cease to exist...whether in reality or in the mind, there is no difference because all the basic tenants imagined by humans would be patently false.

Without the special recognition of people by god, he becomes extinct because the believers need the promise of afterlife. Afterlife that would not exist because this god doesn't find humans more "important" than anything else.

If God is Omnipotent, then he/she/it can not know limitation. Let us assume this is the case. Being bored with being omnipotent God "creates" through whatever means humans. This is done so that God can observe limitation, frustration, etc... Just a thought.

Yep, even the Scriptures say "what is man that you are mindful of him? What is man that you would care about him?" You are right on, and that's the whole beauty of the whole thing.
A God like this didn't need us for anything, He has no need for anything, as He is all and made all. The Scriptures say He made us for fellowship with Him, He loves to spend time with us, whoa nellie that is a mind boggler isn't it, I know it blows my mind too.......

Actually, I agree with you (and am an atheist). If there were any omni^3 beings, they could not have any wants, needs, desires, hopes, dreams, love, hate, etc. etc. at all and still be omni^3.

But religious concepts don't have to make any sense for people to believe them nonetheless.

God made mankind as he wanted it to be for a purpose. Because we do not know the fullness of that purpose dose not lessen God... it just means we do not understand

But for those of The Christian Faith, who have a personal relationship with God, we Know that even though we do not understand all... we are loved by God... why... we do not know... but his love assures us of our Salvation and eternity with him... It is my, and all of the Faith's, hope to find out one day all of what God intends for us...

Nope. We are all as equal as anything else to God. He even watches over the sparrow.
