So god sends jesus to tell everyone what the deal is and how they should treat one another.
The people then turn around and murder god's envoy.
God has to bring his kid back to life and tell him to come home.

He then rewards the murderers with eternal life???
What kind of sense does that make?

Well god is a sadist, you see.
He must have told jesus "Now, either you hang on the cross OR I'LL BURN THEM ALL"!

"Humankind's sins were so huge and he loved us so much he needed a big sacrifice" --- to himself ?
No, no, no, my idea makes way more since.

It doesn't make any sense at all. It's hard to come up with explanations for how these Christianity questions are resolved. I'm reminded of on The Simpsons when Rod and Todd Flanders ask their father if Cain and Abel had children with each other or with their mom, and Ned says that they're not supposed to ask those questions.

Even more questions from your question - God is immortal, so is His son Jesus, so Jesus didn't really die on the cross. So what difference did it make? How "wonderful" does God have to be to send His Son to die, when He's not really even going to die?

If you really want an explanation, C.S. Lewis has one. He says that it was acutally the Devil that killed Jesus. This was a good deal for us humans because the Devil had the right to take our lives/souls for our various sins, but instead he took the life of Jesus, which he didn't deserve to do because Jesus was without sin. This meant that Satan gave up his claim to human souls somehow. It doesn't make a lot of sense, but it makes for an interesting story (this theory is the basis of the Chronic - what - cles of Narnia).

Actually what you described makes no sense at all.

God sent Jesus, His Son, who was also God in the flesh, to the earth for the purpose of being the ultimate sacrifice for our sins because we are born with a sinful nature due to Adam.

Jesus wasn't guilty of anything. He had never sinned. Even though He was tempted in every way to sin.

Jesus died in our place because God won't allow sin into Heaven
so Jesus became sin. Sin deserves death.

Jesus was born as a human baby, grew up and taught people about God, was beaten and crucified until he died. Then He was raised from the dead by the power of the Holy Spirit who is also God. The purpose of His death is to take our place of punishment for what we have done and will do.

The only way to receive this free gift, is to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, repent of your sins (turn away from) and follow Him in a personal relationship.

P. S. God is the one who killed Jesus (the reason He was sent here). It was necessary for our salvation. That is just how much He loves us. But not to worry though. Jesus is now in Heaven with God and is King of Kings and Lord of Lords. He will return to this earth someday soon for His Church (those people who belong to Him). May God bless you and give you the desire to seek Him.

A father's love is unconditional and eternal. It makes a lot of sense. Every kid gets eternal life if that is what they want.

So somebody whacked his kid. So what? It will probably happen again over the course of eternity. I don't want to do it because I love that kid, but somebody will. And, if he DOES COME BACK, how are we going to know which one is Jesus? That is just silly. These things happen, and God forgives us ALL OF OUR SINS. That is no excuse to go on sinning. You should do what you can to execute your best judgment like Jesus while on Earth and in Heaven and even in Hell.

Satan can't keep us down although he tries. What a piece of poop. Down with the Kingdom of Satan on Earth or in Hell!

A a million. God does not choose blood. Why would he? he created each little thing, why would he choose any element? A 2. If God needed to eliminate sins of human beings, he does not use blood or something in any respect or maybe deliver a son and gets him killed; he would only forgive them. And he does that each and all of the time! a three. the belief of sacrificing animals to God is, for my area, to feed the unfavourable. it is an invitation to sense for different human beings; an theory of loving and sharing, i'd say. A 4. that's too stupid to respond to. And that's no longer even a query!! A 5. I under no circumstances heard of that!! Is it interior the outdated testomony? i do no longer think of that's genuine, a minimum of in my faith!! A 6. i think in Jesus Christ (Peace Be Upon Him ) of direction and that he became sent to lead human beings. yet I dont think of that he became sacrificed to wipe out human sins. Come on, does God choose somebody to hold him liable for all human sins, and then crucify him for them? I dont choose to be rude, despite if it does not sound functional to me.

Obviously you are not one who follows the christian religion but in simplistic terms God sent Jesus to teach us the way to eternal life and die upon the cross to fulfill a prophecy. So it was predestined to happen. Jesus taught us the way, God demonstrated that he ruled over life and death when he brought Jesus back and he ascended into heaven. People always ask for proof that God exists, so didn't he prove it?

God follows his own rules. One of which is that all sin must be paid for with pure sacrifices. Humankind's sins were so huge and he loved us so much he needed a big sacrifice. What could pay for them all? What on earth could be pure enough to pay for all of our transgressions? His only begotten sinless son! Our account is paid in full, we just have to believe it so that when payment time comes we can accept Jesus's payment for us.

I know it still doesn't make a lot of sense to human reasoning but human reasoning can be pretty out of whack!

You've just described mercy. But don't forget, the first thing that is necessary to receive eternal life is repentance. Repent and believe in Jesus Christ.

Those who do not repent and believe, will not gain eternal life.

Jesus was the savior of the Jews, no one else. When the Jews rejected Jesus and had him crucified, God allowed all those that believe in him to be saved.

Jesus said that he laid down His own life, that no one took it from Him.
