Whan i straighten my hair it ends up being smoothish!! But if i leave it to dry natural & don't do anything to it, it ends up ben really dry & brittle. I dont want to keep straightening my hair, coz i know it s bad for it... so i would like to leave it natural sometimes without it looking so dryed up!!

Here is a home remedy regimen for dry hair:

Use mayonnaise: Use a dollop of mayonnaise on the palm of the hand and massage it to the head and leave it on for five minutes before having the bath. The recommended time for the mayonnaise treatment is an hour.

Spray the beer: If you do not get any relief from using the mayonnaise, you can use beer as a good setting lotion that gives your hair the crisp, healthy and shiny look. You can pour some beer into an empty pump bottle and spray on the hair after shampooing and towel dry. Then you can style or blow-dry the hair.

Shampoo minimally: choose a shampoo for dry, damaged hair.

Condition your hair: Conditioner glues cuticles back to the shaft and lubricates them. It also prevents static electricity, thus preventing its frizzy appearance.

Cut off the split ends: Every six weeks or so

What you need is a good deep conditioning treatment, like a hairmask, something you leave in for 20 min and then wash out. You can also get a deep conditioning treatment at a salon.

hot oil treatments.

try putting heat protector (spray that you can find any where like walgreens, cvs, etc.) before you straighten it.

after you straighten it put Bio Silk on it. you can probly find that at walmart...if not then look in a salon. That will make it softer.

and to do less damage and to make it even softer try buying a ceramic staightener if you havent already.

get trims often too.

God remedies. Cute. Took me a second to realize you probably meant good!

Anti frizz serum works, but is expensive. Although wal mart has cheap stuff in pink bottles that works well.

Use coconut oil, or sesame oil or grapeseed oil in hair overnight and wash out in morning.

Mix some egg with some mayonaisse and put it on your hair (not your scalp) for 10-20 minutes. Then wash it out with moisturising shampoo. That is what my stylist told me.
