I'm not even Christian and I can answer this whole-heartedly yes. I don't have a problem with Christianity in general. I don't agree with the story but the way of life is good. I think more people should follow the example set by Jesus if not necessarily follow the story. But there are people who are so full of judgement and have their noses so high up in the air looking down on people like me that they can't smell themselves burning. I wouldn't say they give Christianity a bad name because I don't judge a group by some of its members although they are rather off-putting. That's my two cents. Peace and love.

Definitely. A lot of people say all Christians are hypocrites which is so not true. Some people might pretend to be Christians or they might think they are and have themselves completely fooled. Which is sad. If you look in the right places, you will find some really great Christians w/ good hearts that love and serve the Lord. A person's relationship w/ God is only between him and God. but you can tell by their actions. And a lot of people expect Christians to be perfect but no one is perfect but we ask God to forgive us. hope this helps:)

Someone once said Persecution is a bad and indirect way to plant religion. This is what "true Christians" Have been doing for almost 2000 years. You don't believe the way we do then I must kill you to save your soul. Now Christians say if you don't become christian we won't give your village the food and water it needs. So maybe you should ask what is the right way to be a true Christian.

Many, and I do mean many, muslims give Islam a bad name. Same goes with Jews, Hindu's Buddhists etc. So, why pick on Christians - and there are many who do give Christianity a bad image - take O'Reilly on Fox, or this Coulter broad etc.

There are bad people everywhere - but they should not be taken to be the symbol of their religion.

There is no question that there are many who claim to be christian , yet continue to crucify Christ with their sins. I am as guilty but am working on it. Some think they can sin and just ask for forgiveness, they tend to forget that Christ also commanded to go and sin no more. Another thing that Christ said, and I hope folks will take this to heart, "Although you have faith, by your works I will not know you" I appologise for their behaviour. Yup. Shooting up abortion clinics is a great example of that, although a little extreme. Ever watch Dog the Bounty Hunter? Cusses like a sailor, then stops to pray with the whole family.

Yes, as with any culture. There are many classes of people, and alot with "stinking thinking". I don't limit it to Christians. Unfortunately, Christians should be living better.... but that is for God to show them. not me. who am i to judge them, they will be known by their fruit! I know that I have to repent poorly thought comments, actions. Praise God, the Holy Spirit shows me quickly, that i may have a short sin life!

Yes, there are many who don't seem to follow Christ or seem interested at all in His teachings, yet they call themselves "Christians". Some are in prominent positions (*cough* Wheaton College *cough*)

However, Jesus Himself said the world will hate you as they hated Me. Christianity will have a "bad" name even when Christians are obedient to God...perhaps especially when they are obedient to God.

Yes.
I consider myself to be a Christian. Within the Christian community there are those who think that they are more holy than somebody else...there are also those who like to "scare" people into Christianity. "God states that you will go to hell." WTF? God first and foremost is about love...you learn to fear Him as you get deeper into submitting yourself to God.
