Marijuana comes straight off a plant, being a natural high. If you believe in God, then why would god make a plant that gets you high if he didn't want you to smoke it?
I say no, it's not a sin. Smoke up.

Depends on your religion don't it? Rastafarians wouldn't consider it a sin would they? The bible itself states that god put the herb on the earth for man's use (you decide what herb!)
Nowhere does it state in any holy book that pot is a sin. It is only illegal because it could put the petrochemical companies right out of business. It is the most complete and digestable food for human beings on the planet. It is the most verstatile of textiles and oils. You could keep yourself clothed and fed and your car gassed up all one this one little plant that has been erroneously labeled a narcotic.

Why would it be a sin? God said he put everything on this earth that we need. Doesn't marijuana grow form the earth? It is a weed that used to & probably still does, grow wild.

No! go for it - and listen to Marley sing about god while you're at it
to all those christians that say it is a sin - what about drinking wine? It has the same level of effect and Jesus drunk it.

Yes. It is a sin to break the law. And smoking pot is breaking the law.

Yep. It is. The Scriptures are clear about not letting anything control you except the Holy Spirit. Pot is addictive, and it controls you, you don't control it.
And it's against the law, which makes it bad to do doesn't it? Hmmm?

It's certainly not healthy. Sin is a manmade concept.

In Genesis 1:29, God states quite clearly that he made "every" plant and "every" seed to be used by mankind. Therefore, no it isn't.

If you have to ask if it is a sin, then it is! Plus, you are using an ILLEGAL substance and that in itself is a sin!
