I have been married to a military man for 25 years. It depends on the individual you marry and you better know him well before you do.
Being a military wife is difficult and I have seen a lot of marriages break up because either the one or other person was not committed to go the distance.
My husband is a wonderful person. He married me because he loved me and I loved him. We determined that we would always work out our problems and we have.
I believe that some guys (not just military men) are looking for a person they can have sex with but others are looking for a person who loves them, who respects the hard work they do for their family and who is committed to family.

The same thing most guys are looking for, loyalty, caring, monogamy, ability to put up with our shortcomings and still love us. The military does have extra stress since military guys are subject to deployment without family, too.

someone who is faithful (because we all know how long and depressing deployments can be) and someone who is independant so that when the deployments come she can take care of herself and her family.

no sluts...someone that isnt going to be at the club 5 nights a week while hes deployed...someone who wont spend all his money.....
