You need to look up the definition of scientific theory. Then look up "myth", because that is what creationism is.
And it doesn't matter if it's good or bad, it's true. Whether it is what you desire or not is completely irrelevent.

First off I'm a Christan that being said look around you evolution happens all the time. We may not have come from apes but that doesn't mean evolution is bad. Maybe all death is, is the next step in our evolution we are evolving into saints in heaven. And take a look at the Bible, Jesus was not around when God created man. And unless you can proof that Jesus was the son of God don't start that 3 in 1 crap. All I know from my christian teachings and from my own study is that there is a God. So I put my faith in him and him only. I worship none before him. Don't let the church brainwash you. Study for yourself. Only then will you find true enlightenment. And to all of you who call the theory of evaluation fact please look up the meaning of theory

Yeah, evolution is terrible and horrible. And it's not just saying we're related to apes! It's also those butt scratching chimpanzees and totally immoral bonobos! Not only that, but think about it! We're related to things like squid and spiders too if it all goes back to just some microscopic algae or something several billion years back.

On the other hand, it is kind of nice to think that we are also related to puppies and kittens. I kind of like those. I mean, if we just focused on being related to cute things, I think maybe people would like evolution more than a hippie running around the desert in outdated birkenstocks who gets whacked for telling the status quo to go to hell.

As for me, I'm an agnostic and prefer to admit that I'm totally ignorant and don't really know anything. Although I do a good job of pretending to know something from time to time, it all comes back to the self-realization that it was just a fraud. I guess that's why I never really managed to become a Christian. I felt like it was more important to be a real agnostic than a fake Christian, not that I would make a terribly good fake atheist believer of evolution either... It sounds like you managed it though. How do you do it? You know, the whole believing firmly in something with only shoddy evidence. It's huge stumbling block for me. I mean, as far as I'm concerned, Christianity is only a THEORY at best as well... I mean, where is your proof of an afterlife that we're so supposed to care about?

You can't attach a moral connotation to a scientific/biological process. If you believe in creationism, that's fine. Not wanting to accept or understand evolution because you think apes are icky is illogical. And it's vanity and egocentric to despise a natural process simply because you believe we're so much superior to the other living things on the planet. Remember, we also thought that the Sun and all the planets revolved around Earth.

There are no gods. Grow up, and get over it.

Evolution is neither good nor bad. It just is. You wouldn't be here without it. Evolution is fact. The theory of evolution concerns how it works, not that it works.

Really? You think god made us? So, we all lived with the dinosaures exactly as we are? What about "LUCY" and cavepersons? The bible was created for hope. Just because something is not in the bible does not mean that is myth. Are you in the bible? I think not, therefore you are myth! Plus, I think the insult, in your case, would be towards the Apes having to be relaled to you!

Looks like evolution did not complete its job on you.

Anyway, evolution does not care what you think, or who you hate. Evolution is this ever occuring slow change in your genetic structure, and several generations after you are gone, your progeny will see the power of evolution.

Good since believing the popular alternative means you're nuts. And why do stupid creationists always think that evolution means we came from apes? That's not true!

Evolution is real. Some mutations are beneficial to a species (good) and some aren't (bad).

You're DNA shows you are related to all primates. If you don't like it, you should take it up with your Jesus and find out why he made you so related to them.

1 Corinthians 15:
39 All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds. 40 There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.

2 Corinthians. 4:4
In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

Jeremiah 10:12 - He has made the earth by His power, He has established the world by His wisdom, and has stretched out the heavens at His discretion.

1 Corinthians 2:
5 That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God. 6 Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought.

A Russian communist newspaper once explained that they did not need to teach atheism directly in their schools. The could accomplish the same purpose by teaching "the foundations of Darwinism." (HRQ, p. 63)

2 Peter 3:5 - For this they willfully forget: that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of water and in the water.
