The political state of Israel today is not The Nation of Israel. The Nation of Israel is composed of all of God's chosen people(the Jews).
The political bounderies being fought over do not represent the total of all of the land God granted to His people.
When His people have reclaimed that land, the begining of those things signaling the end of days will commence.
the above is biblicaly supported.
All of The Christian Faith must support The Nation of Israel in regaining the land given them by God. While this statement is not specificaly in The Bible, Jesus The Christ is The Christian Lord and Master and still King of the Jews. We must support His chosen people

If you don't want believers in heresy to answer this question, then why in the WORLD did you ask it in a forum filled with non-believers? Since it's obvious you already know the answer I can only guess you did it to bait people so you could report them for abuse.

Gen 12:3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and him that curseth thee will I curse. And in thee shall all the families of the earth be blessed.
Malachi 2
2:1 "And now this admonition is for you, O priests. 2 If you do not listen, and if you do not set your heart to honor my name," says the LORD Almighty, "I will send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings. Yes, I have already cursed them, because you have not set your heart to honor me.
Both are in ref to Israel, Malachi is unto those (priests, pastors, reverends, and good men) who lead the people astray.

He allegedly says a lot about Israel, but he says nothing about Zionism.
"Real" Jews oppose the State of Israel and Zionism:

the Bible says that God will bless those that bless Israel and curse those that curse Her.
the Bible also says for Christians to bless the Jewish people and supply their physical needs, we owe it to them, without the Jewish faith Christianity wouldn't exist...
God told Abraham:
"As for Me, behold my covenant is with you, and you shall be a father of many nations... I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you in their generations, for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and your descendants after you. Also I give to you and your descendants after you the land in which you are a stranger, all the land of Canaan, as an everlasting possession; and I will be their God."- Genesis 17:4, 7-8
Palistine is the modern day version of Canaan... Abrahams desendants were the Jewish people...
God made an everlasting promise to them that they would have the land forever... and the He would be their God...
God cannot break His promises....
Jerusalem is the apple of God's eye...
All Christians should support Israel and Her people...

Not much, Israel was created by the British after they left the middle-east, after WW II, in 1948 or so.
Bible, Quran etc were written much before that time.
