Like paul, I am imprisoned in my body of flesh. I am married and love my family very much. I don't drink, smoke or use drugs, but my circumstances (travelling a lot) have led to me to revert to immoral thoughts and behaviour. I flirt with women whenever I get the chance and go to extremes when chatting and communicating on the internet icluding BDSM and pornography. I am cuaght in a vicious trap and know not how to get out. Do any more of you have the same problem. Is there any remedy. I know Christ is the answer. But I have tried but failed so many times and I feel rotten to repent daily.

Some of the responses are obviously immature and meaningless. I believe this is a serious problem not only for me but for many others. Their input would be very helpful. Also wives who had husbands with this problem or even themselves

It is a constant battle. Check out a few of the Christian websies, you are not alone on this one, especially in our community. You have to start denying yourself. I know a saved man that stopped going on the computer when he was alone, because the temptation was too great for him to battle alone. Also find someone you can trust to help pray you through it. Some burdens we are not meant to carry alone.

I'll try to give a serious answer. It appears that you have developed some urges that are in conflict with your beliefs. Despite what naysayers will suggest, you should not abandon your beliefs as long as you know that you have come to them with an open mind and heart. Only you know that for certain, but I'll assume that you have.
What it seems like is that you have developed lusts, which would be characterised as sins of the flesh. Yes, this can be a difficult struggle to deal with, even with prayer and meditation. I can tell that it is bothering you a lot.
If I were to take a guess, it might be possible that your physical nature is actually crying out for some reason. I don't like the simple "Satan is tempting you" response as there are real psychological processes that might be responsible for where your mind is taking you.
Probably the best thing is to seek out counseling. Your priest/pastor should be helpful in the spiritual aspects, but I also suggest speaking about this with a psychologist or psychiratist. There may be a solution that requires physical attention, and Jesus himself said that the sick need a doctor.
Some of the things that you think about are not necessarily evil if the context is proper. If you can imagine your thoughts applying to your wife without any harm, then perhaps it is not a matter of the thought but where the thought goes. I might suggest that you include your wife in whatever counselling that you undergo. It might be a matter that can be helped out tremendously by her.
Lastly, try not to beat up on yourself. That is something that I would suspect that Satan would enjoy seeing of you. Just remember that you are human, and humans do not become perfect overnight. What your greatest victory will be is to arise above the gloom and despair that your lusts have brought you to and declare that they do not define you. When you begin to do that, I suspect that things will turn around.
I wish you well with your trials.

We are all human, and God obviously understands this, which is why we have the option to repent in the first place. But if you truely want to open your life to Christ there is something often referred to as crucifying the flesh. You are in control of your own actions, as hard as it may be at times. It sounds like you need to give up control and pray for guidance, willpower, and strength. Make a whole-hearted effort to catch yourself when you're doing something you know God wouldn't want you to do. After all, the Bible says in so many words, that God would rather have your heart be cold than lukewarm. Just think about how much God loves you and cares about you. Everything you do should serve as a testimony to your appreciation for being saved. God DOES have a plan for you, but you must be maliable to his loving hands. After all...who better to entrust the direction of your life to than the creator of the universe?

Maybe Christianity isn't for you. Regardless, it's still not right to cheat on your wife. Maybe you just just let your carnal self go in the bedroom with your wife. Maybe she's into BDSM, how do you know if you don't ask her? Back to Christianity...I guess if that's what you truly believe, though, you are just going to have to stick with it and try and get as much support as you can from the Bible and religious leaders.

I would get an accountability software from online, where all your website visits would be emailed to one other person. There are various options for this, some which you have to purchase. A free one is from x3watch.com, also check out xxxchurch.com. Good luck.
And PRAY. That's the most you can do.

We are all at enmity with Jesus. When the thought of flirting comes into your mind, Lord help me become an over-comer. The Lord will hear and deliver you from this. In a world of such pressure to lean to condemnation of oneself and not to seek the divine intervention it makes it worse. Every time Satan bombards you with this just breath that little prayer, Lord help me to overcome this. He will hear you. Each and everytime you overcome makes it easier. Soon you will be guilt free and Satan will have nothing to accuse you of. Keep the good faith and fight the good fight. You will overcome. We all have things in our lives that we need to overcome. Remember each day is another day to take a step forward in faith.

Paul was probably gay, so don't worry about his problems for now.
First of all, you need to discuss this with your wife. Tell her you love her and agree to couples counseling if you want to save your marriage.
Second, you need to become a former Christian as soon as possible.

Christianity is based on the hypocritical denial of our carnal selves. Dump the mythology.

Gee, when I read the Bible, I don't see a single place where Christ talks about sex. Your problem is not with Christ. It's with your religion.
