Everyone knows that to be scared so much you must be a coward and like the wise man once said...
...a coward dies a thousand deaths.
Too bad for you guy.

Well, after the first scare, you'd be at 50%.
At 50%, being scared half to death would leave you at 25% life.
As you progressively continued to be scared half to death, you would be left with less and less life. You'd never actually be killed though, as 50% will never get you to the 100% needed to kill you (But, the .000000000000000...% number does get very long eventually).

There's only a quarter of you left.
1 - 1/2 = 1/2 So there is only half of you left
1/2 - 1/2 = 1/4 Ta da.

you won't die...the mathematics behind it would be that you're now only a quarter alive
the equation goes as follows
100= whole life
scared half to death 100/2 =50
scared half to death again 50/2 =25
so you stay alive, but you've probably soiled yourself at least once

Maybe you're 3/4 dead... half of one half is 1/4. 1/4+1/2=3/4.... Or you could just be someone with a very exciting life.
