Traditional green tea has caffeine. There are newer blends of green tea that are caffeine free though.

Although there is caffeine in green tea, the typical cup contains just one fifth that of coffee, or around 30mg. Still, let's say that isn't good enough - you want decaf green tea. There are things to be considered first.

If you have checked out what is on the grocery store shelf, sitting amongst the green tea teabags is usually a decaf green tea version or two.

If it's a caffeine free cup that you insist on, your best bet is to start with a high quality loose leaf Japanese green tea, preferably from the first harvest, one that is very fresh, and one that has "not" been processed to remove caffeine. Since nearly all of the caffeine is in the first infusion, getting a quality cup of decaf green tea is as simple as brewing an infusion, dumping it, and then immediately re-brewing.

Okay, first of all,all tea naturally has caffeine.Nobody has to add it.You can buy different brands of decaffeinated tea though I'm unsure of any specific brand.Companies wouldn't have to decaffeinate tea if it did not contain it in the first place. So your answer is yes,it definately does unless it says decaffeinated. Most teas contain around 80 mg per serving

Yes it does. And like most coffee and teas is very rich in antioxidants.

The only catch is to get the benefit of the antioxidant, you must get decaf. Caffeine inhibits the absorption of the antioxidants.

Yes, most do, but it's an insignificant amount; and if you are still worried than you can purchase the decaffeinated kind.
