o.k! it may seems strange, but the best thing you can do is to take a fresh yogurt (without fruits or other stuff) and aplly a generous ammount of it to the area that you have the problem. a fresh feeling will show you that the first part is completed!
when you feel that the yogurt is becoming dry, wash it out with cold water and start from the begining.
though, you need at least 2 days if the sunburn is really really bad, but this is the best you can do.
I'm Greek, trust me.

p.s. do you know what the SSS stund for?
Sea Sex & Sun-burn!

Aloe from the live aloe vera plant. Cut off one long leaf, slice it open lengthwise, and put it on the affected area. Be careful that you don't scrape your burn with the edges of the plants skin as it has sharp points. Also drink lots of fluids to rehydrate your skin. Use lotion after burns have healed.

Soak in a cool water tub 30 minutes at a time, several times a day. Of course, if the burn is confined to your face, this could be a little dicey.

Get a box of baking soda and dissolve it in a tub of lukewarm water. Soak as long as you can. Then take aspirin or ibuprofen. ( Tylenol doesn't work in the same way) Next time - use sunscreen. Your chances of developing skin cancer increase by 10 every time you get a severe burn!

diddos. keep the entire sunburned area moist with aloe. the burn is damage to your skin. make sure to use sunscreen next time.

good luck on being better in one day. probably take several days if it's bad.

aloe vera and cool bathes. Also those oatmeal bath packets are very handy. I do recommend plenty of lotion to help with the future pealing. Plenty of fluids also - you body can get dehydrating from sunburn.
