I'm fixing grilled pork, mashed potatoes and gravy, and either green beans or corn for dinner? Which do you think will go better green beans or corn?

Thanks!

Green beans - otherwise everything on the plate will be nearly the same color.

Green Beans - Better for you; fewer empty calories, as with corn. However, beans have a higher flatulence quotient (which is a plus, if you belong to a fraternity).

As for that pork meal . . . you already have the starches well-covered with the taters and gravy. Beans may be better for their nutritional value and digestive fiber (to unclog all that starch). It's always best to include at least one green veggie in every meal (no law against 2+ vegetables, either).

Bon appetit!

I would go for the green beans. I think green beans are better with porc and corn goes better with chicken. I don't know why, just a preference.
