I suppose if a man sued them for gender discrimination, he would likely win. Women have sued every man only establishment and won.

I believe that they are breaking the law, at least in certain areas. I am a believer in clubs for men / women only, but the problem arises when the club becomes a place where major business deals are made, and one sex can't be involved. That is one of the main reasons why women have sued for access.

No, they are not, but I think if you're allowed to have an all female gym, men should be allowed to have a male gym too. There would need to be a lot of red tape to insure equal funding (or perhaps funding based on participation? Hmm.)

I don't know the exact laws in your state but where I use to live my JuJitsu instructor use to teach for free because he said that he didn't want to teach women and if he charged for the services that would be discrimination. So you need to find out in your state.Look in the phone book in your area and call an attorney that specializes in litigation. He or sheight just tell you but it's a long shot.

I think they are. Although they are a private members club these clubs are limited by law as to their size.
They get away with it simply because they can. I suppose if a man wanted to join the membership fee would be astronomical.

This doesn't answer your question, but I love going to gyms with men. They are so nice to look at. I did a women's gym once. I quit after a week.

I don't date the gym guys, I simply like to look at them.
