AVI to DVD?

Question

Who knows a software with which I can convert avi's to DVDs with subtitles?
please help!!!

Subtitles throw a kink into this project but doable. Check out virtual dub. There is a plugin for it dealing with subtitles. It takes the subtitles and "burns" them into the video. Then you can take that video with burned subs and DVD it with winavi as the previous poster mentioned.
The thing with virtual dub and the subs is that the file has to be a specific subtitle style file. It contains the seconds when words are supposed to appear and when they come off.
If you want to add your own subtitles, I think this will be a difficult task.
If you want to burn a foreign film that you already have the subtitles for, this is a very doable project. Good luck

there is a program, called winavi that will convert avi to dvd, but without subtitles since that rather tricky to add.
