He is an alcohol abuser for sure. An alcoholic? That yet needs to be determined by how he acts and if he has an addictive manner. Can he go a month without alcohol? Does alcohol get him in trouble? Does he lose control each time he drinks? Does he drink just to get drunk? If he drinks by choice and not by because of an addiction, that is just an alcohol abuser.

Nope. the quantity of alcohol someone beverages has no longer some thing to do with alcoholism. It has to do with the want to drink alcohol and difficulty refusing it. Being a inebriated isn't like being an alcoholic, both. some drunks can sober up and under no circumstances care in the adventure that they have got yet another drink.

Alcoholism is not dependant on what your friend drinks, how often he drinks, or how much he drinks.
What matters is what happens when he drinks. Do bad things happen when he drinks?

Haha, one of my friends does the same exact thing. He just "likes the taste of it". I guess as long as he isn't stumbling around drunk, let him and his diseased liver be.
