i heard this from an old christian heavy metal rock band, either styx or black sabbath, it was part of a documentary study about backward masking, this study state that most rock bands are diabolic in spirits. Now, this rock group say lambs were meant to be slaughtered, offered to sacrifices, their furs used,. In short, raise them for sustainability, not raising them so that they enjoy the green pastures, but to be used for consumption. They even refer it directly as what is happening to christiendom.

Chrsitians are not refered to as the lamb of God. Jesus Christ Himself is the Lamb of God. So referred to in John 1:29 and 36. Refers to the fact Jesus would be crucified and die on the day when the Jews were preparing to eat the Passover lamb. He would be God's Passover Lamb" to redeem the world.

Also, neither Styx or Black Sabbath are Christian bands. Anything they have to say is total nonsense.

There is but one Lamb of God and that is Jesus the Christ. Believers are oft referred to as sheep.

Also, neither Styx nor Black Sabbath are Christian.

I once heard of an organization who offered anyone $10,000 to write a song that made sense, which when played backwards would contain audible Satanic messages and no one could do it. Interesting isn't it? That gives plausibility to backmaskings claim that Satan is involved.

Moreover, in Ezekiel 28 we see that Satan's first job as it were was the head musician. All very interesting indeed!

As far as Lamb of God is concerned.......I thought Christ was the Lamb of God because He became the sacrificial lamb so we would no longer live in hopelessness. Jesus was the ultimate sacrifice which is why we no longer do burnt offerings to God.

As far as I know, Styx and Black Sabbath are anything but 'Christian' bands. Their lyrics and videos do not portray a Christian type belief in any way, shape or form.

As far as backward masking is concerned....... with true backward masking you would be able to hear where the band placed the backward recording within the song. For example, in Pink Floyd's The Wall in the song 'Empty Spaces' you can hear a guy talking backward just before Roger Waters starts to sing. When played backwards you can hear the guy clearly say, "Congratulations you have discovered the secret message. Please send a self addressed stamped envelope to the funny farm in care of old Pink, Chalfont." This is a reference to the founder of the band, Sid Barrett who went insane doing too much LSD.
A roommate of mine in college tried to tell me that when you play Queen's 'We Will Rock You' backwards you can hear a specific phrase. I asked him to demonstrate this without telling me what the phrase was. He played it backwards about two dozen times and I never heard anything clearly. Once he said to me "Doesn't it sound like 'It's fun to smoke marajuana' then I heard it.
Same with the Beatle's song Revolution Nine. If you play the section that repeats "Number nine. Number nine. Number nine." backwards it sounds like it's saying 'Turn me on dead man. Turn me on dead man.' But in actuality, if you take in account the placement of the syllables and consonants, they do not match up from forwards to backwards. A 'k' sound as in kick will sound the same forward or backwards. Same with an 'm' sound and since there is no 'm' sound in 'We will, we will rock you' how can it possibly say 'It's fun to smoke marajuana' backwards? It's a trick of the ear and the suggestion that it sounds like this or that that makes you hear it that way.
I believe that unless you can actually hear a person's voice embedded in a song and it sounds backward that THAT is true backward masking. But just to play a song backwards for the sake of hoping to find something devilish or evil is a fallacy. It's just some wishful thinking on the part of those who abhore rock music and will try anything to get you to stop listening to it.

Christians are not the lamb of God.... Jesus is the lamb of God....

The ancient Israelites made sacrifices for sins by sacrificing sheep.... then Jesus died fro our sins so He was the last sacrifice....

Now in other parts of the Bible Christians are sheep and Jesus is the shepherd... leding His flock.

sheep are supposed to be one of the stupidest animals in the world... the Bible makes the analogy because Christians are not perfect and sometimes stray from the teachings of the Bible, which is very dumb to do...

I am a Christian and I am glad I bear that name...

However there are many fake Christians that are nothing but children of Satan... like the pastor that says" God hates gays, and thank Him for dead soldiers"
THIS GUY IS A DONKEY... WHAT HE SAYS DOESN'T APPLY TO TRUE CHRISTIAN THINKING...

many Christians accross the world suffer and die for their faith, this has happened all through history...

Romans slaughtered us for fun....

the church burned us at the stake because we gave God the glory instead of the church...

the Nazis hunted us down and killed us along with the Jews...

Communist Russia executed Christian women and children.... with joy

Now even in America, they call us terrorist and freaks and some even hate us so much that they would kill us if they could....

THE HATE TOWARDS CHRISTIANS HERE IS VERY EVIDENT, THEY HATE US WITHOUT CAUSE, BECAUSE WE BEAR THE NAME OF CHRIST....

May God forgive them... and I must as well...

The lamb of God reference is in reference to God as a shepherd. The Sheperd guides his flock, takes them to the best grazing pastures, and keeps the sheep safe from outside harm.

The Lamb of God is Jesus Christ, not Christians. He is called the Lamb because his sacrifice paralleled that of the lambs in the OT that were of "no spot, blemish, wrinkle or any such thing" in that He was born of a virgin without inheriting man's sin-curse, therefore making Him perfect like the OT lambs.

We refer to Christ as the Lamb of God, because of several verses in the Bible, noteably Isaiah 53:7
7He was oppressed and He was afflicted,
Yet He did not (A)open His mouth;
(B)Like a lamb that is led to slaughter,
And like a sheep that is silent before its shearers,
So He did not open His mouth.

And Revelation 5:6
6Then I saw a Lamb, looking as if it had been slain, standing in the center of the throne (...)

What on earth are you talking about? Christians were never referred to as the Lamb of God.

The bible does not refer to us as lamb of God.

It refers to Jesus as the Lamb, the perfect sacrifice for our sins.

The bible does refer to us in stories as sheep, under the direct guidance and care of GOD.

Reading up on a sherpherds job back in that time is a read eye opener on all that they did to care for their flock, and it is a direct relationship like that, that we have with God/Jesus.

contained in the OT the sacrificed lambs (ie killed them) for his or her sins, some Jews nevertheless do. the issue replaced into that a lamb won't be able to truly take your sins away and sacrifices had to be executed persistently for the persons's sins (or going against God). Jesus, replaced into the spectacular sacrifice, he's proper, and ought to hence take sins away for solid. a million Peter 3:18 For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to carry you to God
