You know how most companies monitor your phone calls well, that's what I want to do. I feel like I've been swindled and I'm tired of it. What is a good way to monitor phone calls?

How much do you want to invest, and how much trouble do you want to get into?

Seriously, Federal Law puts restrictions on recording phone calls without telling the person on the other end that you are recording the conversation. "Puts restrictions" means if you record a conversation, and you shouldn't have, and if someone wants to make an issue of it, you could go to jail.

The State you live in will probably have a privacy law also, similar to the federal law.

There are laws against some of this if you are going to use in court, but if you want to just monitor a specific employee who's goofing off instead of working, you can try it. If you confirm your fears, find some other way to deal with it so the recording is not going to be an issue unless you use it as justification for reprimand or termination. You can always find a way... depending on your company's number of phone lines, there's a very cheap recorder for under $100 you can buy and connect it to a phone line before it hits the phone system and then program his/her phone to only use that line for outgoing calls. Your phone system vendor should be able to help you with this. Good luck

Get Uniden.

I can do it on my home phone. As long as you ask for consent from the person you are talking to.
