I do not need to prove to anyone that God is in existence. We have the Bible as our proof and if we choose to ignore what is already written, then how is it for me to prove to anyone? There are many skeptics of religion today. There are many skeptics of Jesus today. This is fine. There was many skeptics when Jesus walked on the earth, they wanted a sign. The only sign Jesus was to give them was healing the sick, raising the dead, making the deaf to hear, the blind to see and the lame to walk. Still they sought their sign. As today there are those that want that sign. Jesus said oh you perverse generation, why should I go against this. People today could hear the very voice of God but would consider it something else. If they seen a pillar of fire they would say it was some uncommon phenomenon. Knowing that God walked on this earth amongst mankind and couldn't persuade them, how is it that I, being a mere person, should persuade any otherwise? Until the day we come to a point in our life that says there has to be more, we will continue on the path we have chosen for ourselves. Then and only then will we turn around and say I have wasted so much of my life, for what.

The sad thing is that when most (and maybe you, I don't know) people say God on yahoo answers, they mean the Christian god. And logic alone is enough to refute that version of God.
As far as the existance of a higher being? No one knows for sure yes or no... or, if yes, anything at all about its motives and desires.

What if that is not your reasoning for denying the existence of God? Your point is moot, my brother. And I have seen a spark, and I have seen love.

you need a slap on the face, the reason why is cause u will feel pain, even though u wont see it, but u will believe that it does exist...
Gos is the same way, you dont need to see him to believe, there is a lot of proof around us that are enough to prove his existance.
You , human, is an enough example

Huh?
I have never seen or touched the Easter Bunny, either. Does that prove one way or another that the Easter Bunny exists?

First, Electricity CAN be seen, what do you think lightning is? Next, Love can be felt, and therefore measured. Now, I have seen my patron god, Odin, and my patron goddess, Freyja. as for your petty little god, YHWH, if he showed himself to people word get out that he is Satan. chew on that, why don't you.

Man keeps getting his *** kicked by natural disasters, poverty, famine, disease etc. When man finds a cure for cancer, heart disease, AIDS and can stop Tsunami's and floods, then I'll say he is getting closer to God. Until, then, man is hopelessly overrated.
