Something with caffeine is good. NO CHOCOLATE! You could try a cola. I know this sounds gross, but if you are able to burp a few times, it will ease the headache. I you get a brake go into a supply closet (or what ever is available), turn off the light and relax your entire body.
Now, after you have done all you can for this one. Call your doctor to get a prescription for the next one. I can't take the medication to prevent them, but I have found a wonderful pill to stop them. It is called FROVA. It stops my headache, light sensitivity, and upset stomach. It is quite pricey if you do not have insurance, but worth every penny. My doctor first gave me samples. Ask your doctor about this. I am forever singing its praises.
One of the best things about this medication is that it does not interfere with your work. It just makes everything go away so you feel like a human being again.

Try getting to a cool dark place for 5-10 minutes, then interlace your fingers and place your hands behind your head so your thumbs sink into the base of your skull. Using firm pressure, rub this indentation and it should help with the tension that contributes to a migraine. Caffeine does sometimes help, the best quick fix I've found is a BC powder, it contains lot of caffeine.

When I used to get migraines, it was a Coke and chocolate-the caffeine helps. I also recommend Excedrin migraine. Try to lower the volume as much as you can. Shut off the sound on your computer, turn off the radio, close the blinds. Do exercises that will release your neck and shoulder muscles. Let your hands drop to your side and shake them, wiggle your fingers. Stretch. Try to do some breathing exercises, that will get more oxygen to your brain. I'm sorry-I know how that feels. If it gets too bad and you have time, go home.

Dark chocolate. Do not use milk chocolate because it will not have the same effect. There are natural flavonoids or something in the chocolate that causes your body to release hormones that will help ease the pain.

Don't consume too much sugary foods. I've heard many people experience migraines after eating too much foods with sugar in them.
