Apes need to breathe air. If it doesn't breathe air, it's not an ape (unless it is an ape in it's mother's womb). So of course there had to be air before there were apes. And that is true regardless of whether you are an atheist or not.

This question proves once more the ignorance of some people.
To be fair on you, whom I believe was molded from your tender ages to may be go to Church or what ever religious institute and listen to the preachers - Evolution is for Living beings like animals and plants. Not for non living things as Air, Rocks, Earth etc.
Again, man evolving from ape is a misconception - it is a primate - a primate looks like an ape. I am sure that you will find many educated people in your country to teach these kind of things to you and I am sure that U R intelligent enough to understand it too. It is no harm to occasionally learn a bit outside the Bible or Koran - do it - it will not take you away fro Jesus, but will give you an insight of the outside world.

God made Earth, sky, water, sun, animals, then man and woman. I don't think that has anything to do with whether an ape or the air was created first. And if you are Atheist, how do you suppose these things were made? They were made somehow......
Missing link? There is no missing link in this situation. God did it, and that's all there is to it. You don't have to believe the same way as me, or anyone else for that matter, but you should take into account that there are beliefs and there are facts. Here they are. I BELIEVE that God made the world and everything in it, just the way it sits. The FACT is that what you're asking has no scientific or religious validation to it no matter what you believe.

Air didn't "evolve", but yes, of course it existed before apes did. It's pretty obvious how we know: without air, apes would never have been able to live.
Honestly, if this is supposed to be a difficult challenge to atheism, you really need to study science. This question reflects an absolutely appalling ignorance of the world.

Your questions really are strange. Since apes are air breathing mammals of course there was air before apes evolved. True the air we breath can not be seen but it is easily measured and the chemical makeup is readily proven. Spend more time in science class and less in christian mythology class.

The interesting thing about evolution is that the ultra-Christians fail to recognize it when it's right under their nose. They refer to it as "theory", but don't realize that selective breeding is evolution in action. Take, say, poodles. Poodles are an evolutionary offshoot of wolves, and more than that, a man-made evolution. So obviously, Man is aware of evolution and even uses it to advantage.
The other side of the coin is the idea of God as creator. Just because we can't see something, the argument goes, doesn't mean it's not there. Too true. But the creation of animate and even inanimate objects out of thin air is magic, and I find that a scientific explanation is much more convincing than, "It's just magic, and I believe it."
I'm afraid that there are a lot of "Christians" who maintain their belief system because it's been handed down to them. Daddy and Grandpa believed in the magic, and if the magic isn't real, that makes them out to be liars. Of course, we can't have that.
And we have seen the "missing link". Her name is Lucy.

No - apparently though, God created the trees before he created the sun....yeah, that makes sense, as trees NEED sun to live. He also created light and darkness before he created the sun and moon.....
Oh, and btw, your question is the epitomy of idiocity.....air doesnt evolve. It is a chemical reaction of oxygen and hydrogen coming together to bond into one element. And, it remains "air" until another chemical reaction changes it.
If I was to think like you, then I would have to say that I am God - after all, when I place water in my freezer, I can create ice!!!!! IM THE FU*KING MAN!

How the hell does air evolve? Of course air was here first... air was here billions of years ago, when evolution started out as microbes in the ocean, LONG before primates and "cavemen" existed.
