Question: EEEEEK! An Athiest? Some facts?
Details of Violation: 850,000,000 Secularists, Non-Religious, Agnostic and Atheists in the world. That's about 15% or more than 1 out of 10 people, making this the fourth largest religious belief grouping.
The population of non-believers in the USA is about 10% and 10-25% in Europe.
Most studies of the hightly educated and scientists show a higher proportion of atheists and non-believers.
Prison populations appear to have a lower proportion of Atheists and non-believers.
Statistics of Atheists are generaly considered statisticaly low especially in 'self-identification' surveys because many who are technically 'Atheists' shy away from the term, often using 'non-religious', 'agnostic', 'secular' or 'humanist' due to Atheism's negative perception.

You have to keep in mind -many criminals will claim Christianity and the Born again Experience - HOPING it will be a Get Out of Jail Free card. No sincerity just words. I have a cousin who has been in and out of jail so many times he knows how to play the system with his on again off again religious experience. Needless to say he is not a Christian.
THAT is the majority of your claims that Christians dominate the prison system. Some however may have been on the up and up and for whatever reason, fell off the wagon so to speak - and that happens when people start trusting in their own selfish desires instead of Christ.
ANYONE is capable of falling. But for the Grace of God, there go I.
Your unscientific poll - does not allow for those who just believe in God and when asked what their faith is - they assume if you believe in God you are Christian - so that is what they refer too.
I do not deny that some brothers and sisters slip up. Some never was sincere and these usually fail everytime. This is the same in the secular world like with AA and the like.

I will comment on these two facts.
1. you can in no way say that Christians are not highly educated. There are many many many highly educated people that believe in God. That is just stupid in itself.
2. A lot of people find God in prison, therefore the unbeliever ratio goes down, because when you are in trouble and in prison, a lot of times people listen and decide to believe in God because they want to change their ways and they know that with God they can do that.
So therefore, I think your survey is ridiculous.

I think you're connecting two things together that aren't linked.
Note, that in your original question, it said higher educated people are less likely to believe in a religion. Also, note that it is common fact that higher educated people are more wealthy and wealthy people end up in jail less than poor. (Not just by good lawyers, wealthy also commit crimes less.)
That is the connection here. It has little to do with religion or lack thereof.

bible says that you will know what tree they are by the fruit fruit are love kindness and all that good stuff and would you call a apple tree a apple tree if it made oranges???
and most criminals in jail become christians after there in jail while there looking for forgivness
research jewish people more then i think like 75 percent of people who are millionairs billionairs are jewish and they have the lowest amount of people in jail

Easy. If there are less of them, then there would be less of them to commit crimes. Crime is not religious, anyone can do it. And claiming to be one thing or another, does not make you that way. Anyone can say they believe, doesnt make it true.
I dont think there was anything wrong with that question, I dont think that it needed to be reported.

i am very proud to say i am an atheist. christians will always try and get rid of anything that does not show them in the best of lights. and that which they cannot get rid of they will claim as not true christians
