When you are diagnosed with a disease that is not well known, it can be very scary. Yes, RSD can affect your vision. The doctor I work for is the top RSD doctor in the southeastern United States. Check out our website for many answers and support groups.

You can also check out the RSD support group from that site that Dr Schwartz is the medical director of. Hope this helps. Best of luck to you.

I too have RSD of the left foot and it has spread to the right foot. I am awaiting a pain stimulator implant. The trial worked really well and controlled the pain for several hours. Look into Tame the Pain site on the internet and look at pain stimulators. Be careful choosing a doctor to do this though and only use the ones suggested in this site. A lot of pain clinics are rip off and treat their patients badly. Dont; go the route of medications of Keppra, Neurontin, etc. they only make it worse and make you feel worse.

My husband has RSD and we're just finding out that his vision is changing. We don't know if it's just age or if the optical nerves are becoming affected. Good luck!
