You will get lots of answers which will tell you which is in their opinion the best MA but that's not the question.

There are many out there from ti chi to brawling MMA.

Martial arts is polluted with politics as is every thing else these days.

But if you find a good teacher - instructor in an art that suits you whether it be sport or traditional you will be on a journey that will change your life.

I have seen children and adults with no confidence or victims of abuse turn into kind, caring, confident people with ego and frustration left at the dojo.

i hope you find what you are looking for martial arts has an answer for everyone you just need the right one for you

i know that the outer physical moves are relatively easy to learn and "perfect", but that the internal aspect of the art requires true insight and diligence to become proficient at. don't settle for just the outer, but get seriously involved with meditation, chi kung "energy work" and chi development. then you'll be a real artist in all aspects of your life. far more important than "beating people up". this is a bit simplistic, but i think you'll get the idea. of interest: www.sahajayoga.com for an intro to subtle energy. *the complete idiot's guide to toltec wisdom* to learn about the mind and how not to be its slave. best of luck

Yes, I know some, my boyfriend knows a whole lot more, and his karate teacher knows just about everything. If you're interested in talking to my boyfriend, send me a message and I will try to help you.

If I can find the dojo's website, I will link it here:

The owner of the site was trained in Okinawa along with his father (who was stationed there by the military, surprise.)
