Wrong - you can see air - the gases that make it up - under a scanning electron microscope.
If you are going to try to prove something exists, you must first have some sort of idea as to what you are looking for.
Define god. Whose god? Which version of which faith's god? Muslim, Christian, Jewish, Catholic, Hindu, Rastafarian... You can't even define god and you want to search for it.
Faith in something that you cannot prove does not mean it exists and not having proof of something does not mean it doesn't exist. Faith is not science and science does not deal with faith. The ones who feel threatened by science and it's principles are the ones who demand that what they believe is TRUE and demand that everyone believe it - yet they cannot produce any proof of it.
Live your life as best you can and don't try to justify it to those who don't wish to live your way.

You are about to grow a brain cell. Find something to hold on to. Air is a physical substance, but usually invisible except under certain conditions. God is not a physical being and physical senses can't detect God under any circumstances. The ancients who "saw" God actually saw "the angel of God". God is a mental and spiritual reality. Mental realities include things like numbers, ideas, languages and plans. Spiritual realities are things like emotions, hunches and intentions. Get over the invisibility thing. It leads nowhere. Music is not visible and no one questions its existence.

Microscopes and telescopes have been around for hundreds of years. Smart people have been trying to prove or disprove the existence of god for millenia. It hasn't happened yet.
And no, "miracles" don't prove. A miracle is something for which no scientific explanation is available. There is no logical basis to assume that miracles are performed by god. You could just as easily assume that miracles are performed by aliens.

God doesn't exists. As far as feeling God in your heart or what not ... do you know how dumb that sounds? People create God. With God, you have comfort in life, you have meaning to living, you have meaning in death, meaning of good times and bad times. When bad things happen, people assume that its "ok" because God knows what he's doing. Its all blind faith. You believe because you WANT to. And its just plain silly.
For everything that happens there is a cause and effect. There is no God in the middle, just because you don't understand it. Just because science can't explain certain things today, doesn't mean that God is there.

Umm, no. First, you can't see air under a microscope. It is just as invisible to the human eye as it is in front of us. Second, God is not something that can be seen with tools of science. God is a supreme divine being and belief in Him is a matter of faith and choice. I choose to believe in Him and accept anyone who wants to belittle me for my faith. I beleive I am right, so they are the ones who are out of luck.

the only way to really prove God exists is to meet him and he just doesn't return my calls. I think he's screening. miracles dont really prove anything because they can't be reproduced. There is no way to prove God's existence or absence beyond any doubt. Who knows what the future may hold but as yet Air and God just can't be compared.

Don't kid yourself. We can prove air is there... for example, if it wasn't, you'd be DEAD! duh.
You can't prove the existence of a God, NOR can you really disprove a God exists... so, why don't we leave it at that?! It's called being 'agnostic', which essentially means we DON'T KNOW either way. People are too wrapped up in having to know everything, without stopping to think that sometimes we just do NOT KNOW! ...being agnostic seems like the most logical and intelligent stance to take.

So - do you mean prove the physical existence of God, scientifically?
Or do you mean "look closer" in an abstract way? Like "look deeper" inside?
Because I think that is the key.
Religious belief rests on faith.

I believe that all living things are the physical manifestation of God. When we experince Love, we are experiencing God. God can't be measured in any way because he/she doesn't exist in the physical realm, as does air.

First we need to find god to see him under a microscope and i dont think he would like us looking at him like that anyway....
and miracles can also be explained by meer chance...
The toehr ones by jesus and such were documented long ago and most people dont trust information that old....
