What are the requirements for a home-based babysitter? My aunt used to do child care and it seems to me that after you have a certain number of kids in your care, you have to get licensed by the state? The number of kids my sitter has varies from 4 to maybe 10 or so on any given day. Their ages run from 1 year to 11 years with most of them being under the age of 5. Is she supposed to be licensed, because she's not.

Wow!!! That is hard to believe she is not licensed! I bet the website from the other gal will really help you! Colorado you can only have children from two families I believe before you have to have a license.(Then you also have to average your own in as well!)
Good luck! let us know how it turns out!
